Done in about 10 min(How long it takes to do this in Orchesi)

Orchesi on your association's website

Add a short members page to your own website so new members can find the agenda themselves. With text to copy and an optional button.

New members, former members coming back and parents of youth members usually look on your website first to see how to join in. If there’s nothing about the schedule there, the question still ends up with the board. A short Schedule and sign-up page lets them get started on their own: which app, how to get in and who to ask.

In short: copy the text below, fill in a contact person and put it in a fixed spot on your website. It takes about ten minutes. Want it to stand out more? Add the button.

Where to put it

  • A page of its own in the menu, for example Schedule and sign-up or For members. This works best: members and newcomers find it right away.
  • A paragraph on an existing page, such as Join us, Youth band or Lessons.
  • In your welcome email or newsletter for new members, with a link to that page.

The text to copy

Replace what’s in [brackets]. Turn the word Orchesi into a link to the explanation for members, so newcomers can read what the app does: https://orchesi.com/for-members/

Schedule and sign-up

We plan rehearsals, concerts and performances in Orchesi, the app for music associations. That’s where you see the schedule, say whether you’re coming and find your own sheet music. The app is free for members.

  1. Download Orchesi from the App Store or Google Play. No smartphone? Orchesi also works on your computer at orchesi.app.
  2. Ask the board for an invitation: email [email address] or talk to [name] at rehearsal.
  3. Follow the invitation you receive and create your account. After that, you’ll see the schedule.

Does your website use blocks, like WordPress? Add a Custom HTML block (or HTML code, Embed) and paste this version. The links are already in it.

Add a button (optional)

A button stands out more, for example on your homepage or next to your calendar. This is what it looks like:

Keep your invite code off your website

Never share your invite code publicly: not on your website, not on social media and not in a newsletter anyone can read. With the code, anyone can request to join, including people you don’t know.

Someone gets in touch through your website? Invite them yourself by email. That way you put a new member straight into the right groups and sections, and they see their rehearsals as soon as they accept. To see how, read Invite members straight into the right groups.

Code ended up somewhere public anyway? Generate a new code. The old one stops working right away. Deny requests from people you don’t know.
